Delivery Personnel
Function:
Operates vehicles to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership. Performs maintenance and service tasks on customer’s equipment at their home as required. Instructs customers on equipment operating procedures as required.
May perform certain pre-delivery inspections on new equipment as well as new equipment setup.
Responsibilities:
- Transports equipment to/from customers and events.
- Accounts for all time on a time card and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
- Instructs customers on basic, equipment operating procedures as required.
- Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
- Maintains assigned trucks and related equipment in good repair, organization, and cleanliness.
- Maintains all required certifications in line with company policy.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as truck operator.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Minimum Age Requirement 23 (Insurance Requirement)
